New character: Pipuri, the Enchanter

Placeholder art, featuring spicy:

Pipuri is an Enchanter, a Mage class that passively enhances the attack power of all other allied units in their range.

Compared to Antero, an Arcanist, Pipuri has significantly lower Atk and significantly slower attack speed; she will be outdamaged by him one-on-one in all cases. However, despite being a poorer source of Magic DPS in her own right, Pipuri offers a much spicier solution to high Def targets -- simply make everyone hit harder! Any attack made by any of Pipuri's allies in her range (except Pipuri herself) has its base power boosted by 20% of her own Atk, prior to multipliers. (This is not a stat boost, but rather a boost to the attack itself!) This allows Physical attackers to overcome high Def stats much more easily.

Pipuri's passive, Fiery Embrace, grants an additional boon to her team -- any attack made by an ally in range, including Pipuri herself, will set its hapless target on fire, eroding their HP by a small portion of the attack's power over time! The burning damage does not stack; only the highest power effect is counted when dealing damage. Her active, Turn Up The Heat!, immediately grants a +50% Atk buff to all allies in range, including Pipuri herself, increasing both the buff Pipuri grants and the burning damage from her passive; additionally, Pipuri's own attacks will deal additional Magic damage to the target proportional to how much burn damage they are taking. While any damage dealer appreciates Pipuri's bonuses, she pairs especially well with units such as Miel or Veitti with rapid attacks and high multipliers, as they can capitalise on the flat boost from her class bonus with their fast attacks and their power multipliers increase the burning effect from her passive. AoE attackers such as Tykki also deserve a mention, as her burn damage offsets their slow attack rate and their AoE allows them to spread the fire to multiple targets at once.

This also marks the advent of a "fourth" "damage" "type", Erosion, which isn't used quite the same as other damage types; no attacks deal it directly, and it is exclusively used for DoTs. It is for most intents and purposes True damage, as it is dealt directly to the target and thus by nature entirely bypasses Def and many protective effects such as evasion or barriers, but it can still be resisted by certain foes.
